‘I’m so excited about attending the Pride of Tameside Sports Awards at Dukinfield Town Hall on 22nd September. I lived in Tameside for a number of years when training for the Olympics so it will be brilliant to go back and share in the celebration of sport. Coaches, volunteers, athletes and clubs are key to the sporting infrastructure in the UK and Tameside do a wonderful job, so I look forward to celebrating with them all. Special thanks to Pulse Fitness for their ongoing commitment to Active Tameside and inviting me to be part of this event.’ – Steve Parry
