Name: Aidan Tevlin
Centre: Active Denton
Club: Ashton-under-Lyne Swimming Cub & Oldham Aquatics
Bio: I learnt to swim at Denton pool through swimming lessons. I am now a regional level swimmer and specialise in frontcrawl, butterfly and backstroke. I have also had the opportunity to work with Olympians such as James Goddard, Rebecca Adlington and Michael Rock. I began coaching and teaching swimming at 13 years old. I have since developed my knowledge and one of the swimmers who I coached was best in the country for 3 years at 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke.
Name: Tenneil Davies
Centre: Active Denton
Club: Ashton-under-Lyne Swimming Cub (previous)
Bio: I started lessons at Ashton Swimming Club – my dad was Head Coach there at the time. I was 8 years old when I integrated into swimming competitively with the club and I swam through until I was 16. Over the 8 years, I raced in different leagues then moved up to county championship races, in which I gained many medal positions. I achieved Swimmer of the Year for Ashton Swimming Club and in that same year, I achieved 39 personal best times. As well as swimming, I assisted my dad in coaching younger swimmers at weekends – both from the poolside and in the water – with my dad’s guidance. I have taken my experience and knowledge with me to my current position with Active Tameside.

I started coaching at the age of 15 at Stalybridge then completed my level one teaching qualification, aged 16. I then completed my level two teaching qualification.
Name: Stephen Bromley
Centre: Active Medlock
Club: Hyde Seal Swimming Club
Bio: I have always had a real passion for swimming, being involved as a swimmer since the age of 4 then moving on to coaching at a later age. I have swum competitively since 9 years old, achieving many awards along the way and I still compete today to a high level, in masters swimming across all 4 strokes. I am the Junior Team Manager at Hyde Seal Swimming Club and I have been coaching swimmers there since I was 14 years of age, having been fortunate enough to coach some regional and national swimmers. I am always researching and learning new methods and coaching techniques to better myself in swimming. I will use all of my skills and knowledge to help children in the Swim Academy to develop and reach their swimming goals.
