We are looking to hire a full time Community Development Officer to work at various Tameside and Active Tameside locations.
As a Community Development Officer, you will be working from the heart of the community and will be responsible for reducing inactivity through a range of sport, physical activity and wellness interventions and will help people to achieve health outcomes that will positively affect their lives for years to come.
You will plan, organise and deliver Sport, Physical Activity/Wellness sessions in the community. This will be in line with the original local delivery plan and meet set targets.
A full UK drivers license is required for this role due to requirement to travel to different venues within the Tameside area.

We deliver a wide range of leisure facility and community-based services that generate participation in physical activity and sport, to improve health and wellbeing, predominantly in the Tameside area but also with our partners across Greater Manchester.
