What is HyperBowling?

If you’re into classic 10-pin bowling (more about that comes later), our modern lanes provide the perfect setting to sharpen your technique, challenge friends and family, and enjoy some friendly competition.

But first, HyperBowling takes everything that’s great about classic 10-pin bowling and adds another exciting, interactive layer that combines physical gameplay with video-game style technology, lights, targets, and challenges for something that little bit different for up to six players per hours.

Here’s how it works. The bumpers are always up in Hyperbowling, and they light up with different coloured targets. The aim is to hit the bumper with your ball and then knock down as many pins as you can.

Depending on which bumper colour you strike, that will determine your ‘multiplier’, which are as follows:

Red – x0
Green – x2
Blue – x3
Yellow – x5

If you strike down a pin you get 100 points.

So, for example, if you hit the yellow (x5 multiplier) and then one pin (100 points) you will get 100 x 5 = 500 points.

As the game goes on and players move through the levels, the game gets harder as the coloured bumper targets get smaller and start moving.

HyperBowling transforms every shot into a strategic adventure, making it ideal for players of all ages and skill levels. There’s four different modes to choose from:

HyperBowl – the original HyperBowling experience where players aim for glowing targets to multiply their scores and maximise points.
HyperSquad – team up with friends or family and work together to achieve the highest score. Perfect for group outings and family challenges.
HyperActive – fast-paced and energetic, this mode rewards quick thinking and accurate shots as players race against the game.
HyperStrike – a competitive challenge designed for players who want to test their precision, strategy, and bowling skills.

Classic 10-pin bowling

If you’re into the more traditional form of bowling, the much-loved 10-pin, which is scoring the highest points with strikes and spares, then you’ll feel very much at home with us.

However, we have ways of making classic 10-pin more fun too. Traditional bowling has the option to choose themes such as classic, vintage, disco, energy, bubble gum, fairy tales, ocean, sport and hallo pin as well as seasonal and celebratory themes such as birthday and Christmas joy.

We also have an option to personalise your own lane with colours and selfies using our selfie grids.

Two more options for traditional bowling are ‘YouToons’ and ‘Mad Games’.

YouToons – you take a selfie on the console and watch you and your friends transform into hilarious cartoons/characters on the screen, which celebrate with you as you knock down pins.

Mad Games – these are shorter, quick and easy mini games aimed more for children. The games are: bowlinghood, monster factory, character factory, battle on the lanes.
