Tameside 5k Festival

The Tameside 5k Festival is a new running event hosted by Active Tameside and Local Runners Podcast. We are looking to run two or three events per year at the Tameside Cycle Circuit in Ashton-Under-Lyne.

This consists of graded 5k races that cater for all abilities, and we have recently added a family fun mile event. These all take place around the traffic-free cycle track loop.

We are looking for volunteers to help provide the local community with a safe, friendly and fun running environment and assist with roles such as registration, marshalling and all-round support on the day on Saturday 8th March
