Throughout the duration of April, our instructor George has released a collection of videos. These 5 videos make up George’s Mini-Workout Series, each video consists of a different mini-workout. The workouts have previously been released individually through our Social Media and the new Active Tameside App! George’s Mini-Workout 1
Using a mop, broom handle or something similar… aim to do 3 sets of:
- Wide Grip Deadlift x15 Reps
- Abdominal Crunches x20 Reps
- Bent Over Row x15 Reps
George’s Mini-Workout 2
Aim to complete 5 rounds of:
- Lunges x30 Seconds
- Walk-Outs x15 Seconds
- Crunches x15 Seconds
- Squats x30 Sesconds
- Plank Jacks x30 Seconds
George’s Mini-Workout 3
You will need 2 tins of beans (or similar) and a mop or broom handle. Aim to do 5 rounds of the following reps, 21-15-9-15-21 on each exercise:
- Squat to Press
- Burpees
- Press-Ups
- Bulgarian Split Squats x16
- Plank Toe Touches x30
- T-Bar Press-Ups x16
- High Knees x60 Seconds

Aim to complete 6 rounds, reducing the number of reps each time (21-15-12-9-6-3):
- Squats
- Press-Ups
- Sit-Ups
