This is an update regarding some of the online issues for both payments and bookings that may be being experienced. We have been having various issues with some customers reporting problems when trying to make payments online, regular bookings and membership joining fees (Excluding Active iTrain)
We are working with our Leisure Management System provider to help remedy these issues quickly however, the issues are a result of online banking security upgrades that are coming into force in 2022 to improve the safety of online purchases. Some banking providers may have activated their increased security phase more quickly than others meaning that due to not having the security upgrade in place yet, some online processing will be rejected.
We can’t identify specific payment providers it is impacting yet such as Lloyds Debit or Barclays Credit as examples
We will have all IT software with the new upgrades completed by March 31st 2022.
What to do?
1. Your payment will not have been collected if you receive this error message.
2. You need to try an alternative card payment to see if it is your specific provider
3. Use the Active Choice Card for redemption where you can
4. You can come into centre and make your bookings in advance
