Adult Day Service Volunteer

Supporting Adults with various SEN needs. Volunteers will be expected to support the clients in a range of activities, prepare (set up and tidy up) activities, help create a positive environment.

Also supports the volunteer to eventually get into paid employment. Takes place between different venues (Active Medlock, Total Adrenaline, Tameside Wellness Centre). Service runs between 9.30am-2.30pm.

There would be volunteer opportunities every day. We provide our own in-house training, which Volunteers could access.

Holiday Camp Volunteer

Support the camps that are delivered in the half terms. Help provide fun-filled activities in the school holidays for children to engage in.

Also supports the volunteer to eventually get into paid employment. Camps run between 10am-3pm. Based between Active Medlock & Thomas Ashton School. We provide our own in-house training, which Volunteers could access.

Supporting different evening sessions for anybody with a disability that can access. Help people to integrate and access community activities.

Sessions based between multiple venues across Tameside and run between 5pm-8pm. Also supports the volunteer to eventually get into paid employment.
